Responsibilities
* Receive, accession, and verify incoming laboratory specimens with accuracy
* Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and data entry into laboratory systems
* Prepare and distribute specimens to appropriate testing departments
* Identify and resolve specimen discrepancies or missing information
* Maintain compliance with laboratory procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
* Organize and prioritize workload to meet turnaround times
* Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and supervisors regarding specimen issues
* Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with laboratory policies

Qualifications
* Previous laboratory, specimen processing, or accessioning experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
